Plot

The opening sequence shows various photographic and painted views as well as Oklahoma landmarks superimposed on the New York landscape: Statue of Sioux Indian Chief "Touch the Clouds" wearing a military bonnet and a bone necklace (breastplate) set atop the Brooklyn Bridge. Gold on statue placed on LibertyRoute 66 Western Gateway Arch statue placed on Manhattan’s Main « Avenue ». Tulsa King delivers
Exactly what you are looking for. Stallone hits the mark with a darkly no-nonsense performance that blends humor and violence to near perfection. The classic fish-out-of-water scenario is well played.
To be honest, I was pleasantly surprised
And the first episode does a great job of establishing what looks like an all-star cast. From the very beginning, the plot begins to intertwine. We’ll see how the season plays out, but for now it’s a big change of pace from some other series debuts recently.
No cgi to be sure
Just great characters, authentic dialogue, smart story, and a top-notch cast. Season 5, Episode 2, "Squid Game" Season 2 and more of the most anticipated new and returning series coming to TV and streaming.
