Plot
Charles, a retired man, gets a new lease on life when he answers a private investigator’s ad and becomes a mole in an undercover investigation at a nursing home.

I’m not a marathoner, but I devoured the entire season in the first night
It has just the right mix of warmth, fun, sadness, and depth, with a plot that keeps you hooked.
Ted Danson, of course, is great, but Stephanie Beatriz (Díaz in 1999) is incredible, and her character is someone you want to spend all your time with
It’s set in San Francisco, which of course helps with my rating, but overall, while it’s very sad at times, it’s a comedy and gives you hope for the future as we all age.
A solid eight out of ten for me, one for the ages, and who knows, I hope for another season
