Plot
After a bullying incident at their elite college, half-siblings Caroline and Lucien decided to preserve their power and reputation by seducing the daughter of the vice president of the United States. The direct-to-video sequel Okrutne namjere 2 (2000), in which Amy Adams replaced Sarah Michelle Gellar as Catherine Merteuil, was originally a scripted television series and later remade into a feature film. What were they doing?! Lucien looks like a twelve-year-old thrift store doll. There is not a single chance that some 20-year-old girl will find him attractive or irresistible.

The girl who plays the vice president’s daughter is not very convincing. Terrible game. Terrible scenario.
Maybe then it would appeal to a younger audience without comparing it to the movie
Terrible casting. I don’t think they should have called it « Cruel Games » or used the names of the characters in the movie. None of these actors can compare to Sarah Michelle Gellar, Ryan Phillippe, Reese Witherspoon or Selma Blair.
