A grieving therapist starts telling his clients exactly what he thinks
Ignoring his training and his ethics, he finds himself making big changes in people’s lives, including his own. When Brett Goldstein, Jason Segel, and Bill Lawrence were asked how they got Harrison Ford to appear on the show, Segel said that Goldstein originally wanted someone « Harrison Ford » type and intended to audition for people similar to Ford. Segel told Goldstein that they had to at least introduce him to Ford first, thinking he would turn him down outright, but at least other people would hear that Harrison Ford had been invited to the project, which sparked interest from other famous actors.
The acting was amazing
In the end, Goldstein talked to Ford and convinced him to take the role. Goldstein still doesn’t understand what he did to convince him, but he was still very happy. Featured on WatchMojo: The 10 Best TV Shows of 2023 (So Far) (2023). It was a solid production and a unique story.
Is it perfect?
I love how each character embraces their imperfections, shows vulnerability, and uses humor to grow spiritually. Twitch has a lot of heartfelt moments, awkward moments, mildly funny moments, sweet moments, and laugh out loud moments. I wish they keep producing more seasons because the character development warrants it. NO.
But neither are we
I think the overuse of swearing takes away from the overall power potential here. It’s almost like the writers were forcing the show to be bold. Personally, I don’t think it needed to. That’s why I gave it an 8.
