Developers from GSC did not lose heart, reorganized and created Vostok Games. It all starts with the personal page of the user. Against the backdrop of a dirty room, a player’s avatar, clearly drinking a man of an unusual appearance, stands lonely. There is no “customization” yet: only three options for weapons in the inventory, the ability to join one of the two groups available at first and eagerly explore the closed shelves of stores.
Entry into groups (these are not clans and not sides of the conflict) are necessary for two reasons. Firstly, tasks for the nearest rounds are becoming available-“Kill X Man”, “Collect Y”. The complexity of such quests grows over time, each time increasing the values of X and Y. The reward for execution is also growing: the player has a certain reputation that allows you to buy exclusive items. One side offers more “aggressive” goods, the other relies on research and support.
In addition, for any successful actions in the game, money and experience points are accrued. Money is needed to buy better equipment, and experience allows you to improve character characteristics. So far, they are reflected only by faceless columns of unnecessary “plus one and a half percent to the damage”, but in the nearest update a full -fledged role -playing system will appear.
There is nothing unusual with money. As Free-to-Play implies, there are two types of cash: intra-game silver and bloody earned gold. You can “start” the accelerated gain and the unique design of the character, while everything that really affects the gameplay is acquired for the game currency. The range of goods is quite extensive, and you can always choose a combination of armor-arrangement to your taste.
You can bet on the most severe uniforms and long-range “guns”, and someone prefers to spend money on protective suits to roam among the enemy anomalies under the nose. In addition, for some time the weapons can be improved by giving it unique properties: increased damage, quick aiming and reloading. All this allows you to greatly configure the character for your own style.
Finally, in the latest update it became possible to unite in clans: you need a certain amount of silver to create your own team, after which the organization has to constantly “pump” it, playing in its composition. It will be possible to accept more players and arrange clan battles.

U Vostok Games grandiose plans for the further development of the project. Someday in the future, a cooperative plot campaign will appear here. The game has several symmetrical maps: research stations, deaf villages and abandoned buildings in the best traditions S.T.A.L.K.E.R. In technical terms, all this is completely inexpressive: the engine finds fault with system resources, but gives out a graphics of many years ago. Another thing is that this is redeemed by an excellent art: destroyed churches and moss overgrown with moss sometimes manage to fascinate. But only from afar.
The format of cards is different. Some are very narrow, others are spacious and shoot almost through and through. There are always convenient points for « camper », there are always close angles for violent shootings. But the task at any stage is standard – to find batteries, bring them to the base and protect them from the greedy opponent. The only variation is that batteries can wallow anywhere or on “charged positions” strictly designated for this. In the near future, the list of modes will replenish the usual command Deathmatch.

There is always an anomaly at the level – a zone with increased radiation and all kinds of traps. Artifacts are born in it, giving serious bonuses. You need to buy protection and, yawning, wander for a long time on a dangerous area, substituting under the sight of users running around. This is not too similar to a serious alternative to the shooter, given that valuable objects appear catastrophically rarely and do not always cost the time spent.
For the most part, artifacts are an analogue of grenades with different effects: some slow down the time around the player (and there are bullets that block), others create a gas cloud or turn off the electrical appliances within the radius. Is it worth straining for them – a controversial question.
Otherwise, no revelations: rifles, pistols, machine guns, submachine guns. Inventory, clogged with energy for acceleration, traps, grenades and first -aid kits, by and large, is useless, the game does not justify the waste of time on « tactics ». A accurate shoot is easier and more efficient.
To better understand the degree of readiness of the game, you need to clarify: the ability to hit the enemy with a butt has recently appeared.
