I couldn’t have been more wrong
Lincoln Lawyer was actually better than I expected. I’ve never read the books it’s based on, but I’ve seen the Matthew McConaughey movie and thought it was pretty good, but not worth making into a TV series. I fully expected it to be a low-budget imitation.
In fact, I liked it more than the movie
I wasn’t going to watch it until I read all the great reviews and found out it was one of the most-watched shows of the year on Netflix. Manuel Garcia-Rulfo does well in the lead role and Becky Newton, Neve Campbell, Angus Sampson, and others do fantastic work in supporting roles. While it’s not the best legal drama you’ll ever see, it’s definitely worth watching.
