Plot
A retired CIA agent is haunted by both the agency he once worked for and his own nightmares when an unknown man suddenly visits him after nearly three decades. During this time, Jeff Bridges was diagnosed and then treated for non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.

After recovering, the series went back into production. Bridges referred to the return as coming back from a "long weekend" on podcast in July 2022.
Well, it not only met those expectations, but exceeded them in every way
I’ve been looking forward to seeing The Old Man ever since I saw the first trailer. I’m a fan of spy thrillers and Jeff Bridges, so I had high expectations.
Acting, writing, directing, etc
are just as good, FX always delivers great content and this show is no different. The only bad thing about this show is that we have to wait a week between episodes, I wish they would release them all at once like on Netflix, but since it’s on Network tv, I get it.
Binge watching destroyed me because now I hate waiting a week between episodes
I’m looking forward to the second season and hope it continues to be as good as this season.
