Plot
Julian, struggling to adjust to his new school after being expelled for his treatment of Auggie Pullman, is visited by his grandmother and transformed by the story of his attempts to escape Nazi-occupied France during World War II. Later that month, the film was quietly pulled from the schedule and pushed back to August 25, 2023, due to poor performance at the fall (2021) box office, and was pushed back again to an unspecified date due to the SAG-AFTRA strike. Grandmère mentions that Julian was expelled from Beecher Prep as a result of bullying Auggie in Wonder (2017). However, in that film, Julian was never expelled from Beecher Prep for bullying Auggie. He received a two-day suspension, and upon learning of this, his parents decided to pull him out of school at the end of that school year.
Julian Albans: It doesn’t matter
Albans: Right now, I’m just trying to fit in. It’s been my motto since I left my old school. Grandmother: What? Julian, you didn’t leave your old school. You got kicked out for being mean to another kid.
Just be normal
You know what I mean. If I learned anything from this, it’s to mind my own business. Don’t be mean, don’t be nice. Grandmother: And that’s what you learned? To be normal?

Grandmother: Nothing. And everything… Watch Čudo (2017). It Can’t Be Wrong, written by Kim Gannon, Max Steiner, played by Vera Lynn. In a world where violence and action always get the credit, sometimes we need to take a moment and enjoy gentle films.
This film really touched me in many ways, the character development is excellent and the way the director conveys the message is also phenomenal
I would really recommend all parents to give this movie a chance and watch it with their kids as there are some really deep and meaningful life lessons throughout the movie, a movie that teaches us (especially the younger generation) to love and be kind to others instead of being mean and using others to bully ourselves to the top. Really recommended!
