However, it is a spy thriller as much as Love, it is actually a film about politics. Yes, LA was a prime minister, but it was a love story. Black Doves to me was a romantic/buddy comedy with a spy theme, with a bit of bang thrown in. I love a good spy show, and this was not it. It was a really good romantic/buddy comedy, so I recommend you give it a try. Kieran Knightley and Ben Whishaw have great chemistry as partners in crime. There are some nice comedic turns from the various hitmen. The gore is Tarantino-style, which is fun but not exciting. Overall, it’s a wonderful, entertaining piece of acting… No need to waste time scrolling endlessly – here’s the full lineup of new movies and TV shows streaming on Netflix this month.
